The yarrow have been drawn....

	The present is embodied in Hexagram 54 - Kuei Mei (The Marrying Maiden): The action will be evil, and in no way advantageous.
	The first (bottommost) line, undivided, shows the younger sister married off in a position ancillary to the real wife. It suggests the idea of a person lame on one leg who yet manages to tramp along. Going forward will be fortunate.
	The second line, undivided, shows here blind of one eye, and yet able to see. There will be advantage in her maintaining the firm correctness of a solitary widow.
	The fifth line, divided, reminds us of the marrying of the younger sister of king Ti-yi, when the sleeves of her the princess were not equal to those of the still younger sister who accompanied her in an inferior capacity. The case suggests the thought of the moon almost full. There will be good fortune.
	The sixth line, divided, shows the young lady bearing the basket, but without anything in it, and the gentleman slaughtering the sheep, but without blood flowing from it. There will be no advantage in any way.
	The situation is changing rapidly, but neither Yin (the passive feminine force) nor Yang (the active masculine force) is gaining ground.
	The future is embodied in Hexagram 12 - P'I (Stagnation): There is a lack of understanding between the different classes of men, and its indication is unfavorable to the firm and correct course of the superior man. We see in it greatness gone and the lesser come upon us.
	The things most apparent, those above and in front, are embodied by the upper trigram Chen (Thunder), which is transforming into Chi'en (Heaven). As part of this process, movement, initiative, and action are giving way to strength and creativity.
	The things least apparent, those below and behind, are embodied by the lower trigram Tui (Lake), which is transforming into K'un (Earth). As part of this process, joy, pleasure, and attraction are giving way to docility and receptivity.
